You have to feel for restaurant owners in Cleveland. They pay through the nose for water and sewer usage service, property taxes, etc. Now, City Council is allowing clown cars (food trucks) to drive around the city and steal their business and has outlawed certain ingredients. Next, council members are going after sugar-filled sodas.
Discussion of about the two comets heading our way Levy and Elenin - why are the mainstream media being so quiet about this? When it is there, you just have to know what to look for. http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2011%20EM51;orb=1 [//]

Spring time...nice weather... Warm summer days ahead... Gardens being planted all over... Yards being rotatilled, seeds being planted, Spring Cleaning taking precedence over reading.... Fresh Air to lift up our wings of faith and inspire us with another year of possibilities...
Hundreds of events will fill our calendars. People will rush around enjoying the sweet pleasures of our city; at least those who can afford to venture out with escalating gas prices!

This ghosttown is right in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio along the Madison Avenue business district. The remnants that remain almost seem out of place in this neck of the woods. From West 65th Street where Madison stops now (As the access to West 58th Street has been stopped for years) to the edge of Lakewood on West 117th, Madison avenue is a deep reflection the blight that hit Cleveland, Ohio after 36 years of Community Development was used to empower our citizens...
NSA Releases UFO Files Reveals "Alien Messages" Received (See Unexplained Phenomenon Vault) Recently a series of radio messages was heard coming from outer space. The transmission was not continuous, but cut by pauses into pieces which could be taken as units, for they were repeated over and over again. The pauses show here as punctuation. The various combination have been represented by letters of the alphabet, so that the messages can be written down. Each message except the first is given here only once. The serial number of the messages has been supplied for each reference.

When you turn on your natural gas furnace to heat your home in the winter or your natural gas hot water tank for a steaming bath or your gas stove to cook a yummy meal; did you ever think twice about the source of that natural gas? With recent regulations to the gas companies, many families have been able to think about the source providers that they purchase the resource from; but what about "WHERE" it comes from?
For the better part of a decade, advocates have attempted to pass bills in the Ohio General Assembly to provide Ohio's sick and dying citizens with safe access to medical marijuana (cannabis). However, when confronted by this issue, our state's elected leaders simply shy away. While the effort to pass a bill in the statehouse is still being pursued, there is another way citizens can enact change.
If a group of citizens feel strongly that an issue has not properly been addressed by the Ohio General Assembly, they can propose an initiated constitutional amendment to the people for a statewide vote. This is the route we've decided to take, placing the issue before the voters on November 6, 2012.

Demolitions are clearing land daily in Ward 14 for your next COMMUNITY GARDEN....
Here's a community Garden site on West 48th Street, South of Clark... You can find these sites around the neighborhood in vacant lots. Citizens unite every Spring to plant fresh flowers and vegetables in these empty lots. Soon, there will be enough vacant lots to support more food than is needed by the dwindling population of Cleveland.
