One Cleveland urban church that is still attracting a young, diverse, fun community is The Church of the Covenant, on Euclid Avenue, in University Circle... Claes has decided he likes going to church! I like going to University Circle on any beautiful Sunday, and watching children play.

When It Comes To Pollution, The Plain Dealer Editorial Board Shows How Low You May Go

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 03/29/2010 - 07:03.

I include below in its' entirety the most irresponsible words ever published by a newspaper, and I include the profiles of the Editorial Board of the Cleveland Plain Dealer that published these words, on this day, for the permanent record, for all history. I include this editorial here because the Plain Dealer has a history of hiding their online content, and this content is terrorism that may not leave the free public view and record ever... this Plain Dealer editorial is the equivalent of bio-terrorism and should be prosecuted by the Federal Department of Homeland Security. The line: "Many youngsters and some adults suffer from respiratory problems, particularly in the summer, when smoggy days can be pure misery" is especially harmful and insulting to the citizens of Northeast Ohio, who live under health-crisis conditions here. The Plain Dealer is highly responsible for the poor health of our citizens, and the poor state of the regional and global environment, even as their editors deny the reality of climate change. They are hereby disgraced forever.

Question of the Day? Why Am I So Aggressive Today? It's The Lead Poisoning, Everyday.

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Fri, 03/12/2010 - 16:36.

If I seem aggressive, everyday, it's the lead poisoning.

I wake up each morning knowing my family is still harmed by lead. I deal with that all day. I feel terrible all night, until I may sleep. I sleep poorly, in sadness. I awake to another day harmed by lead poisoning.

Why should any "community leaders" feel better any morning? 1,000s MORE of their citizens feel as bad as I do each year, because their leaders have done a poor jiob addressing lead poisoning, and it hit 1,000s of children and their families right between the eyes.

WIth the arrival of the Bigbang on ICEarth, we are prepared to grow GRASS.

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Wed, 03/10/2010 - 04:47.

Implementing an open source GIS system (Geographic Information System) is one of the core necessities for eradicating lead poisoning and reducing other environmental harms in Northeast Ohio.

GIS needs lots of computing power. Bigbang Supercomputers are optimized for heavy graphical and computational processing in a lean, scalable cluster/cloud-friendly Linux environment that should be perfectly suited to run open GIS.

Now that we have supercomputers available, let's get mapping for lead poisoning eradication.

The open source GIS system we will be using is GRASS - Geographic Resources Analysis Support System - and it is free/libre, so there are really no barriers to citizens mapping out environmental solutions for the future of real NEO, with state of the art technology and information services available to and for all citizens.

It's one of my children's birthday today. We're mourning another year with lead poisoning,

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 03/09/2010 - 21:11.

It's one of my children's birthday today. We're mourning another year with lead poisoning, It breaks my heart to see a child hurt this way, in this day and age, and that he must now be a poster child... especially as I already worked so hard to prevent this from happening for my children and all children here, over the past five years, and I was treated very poorly for that sacrifice. We all failed the region's children, in the process.

As I must now become an expert in yet another dynamic of lead poisoning - development issues related to lead poisoning - I think of how my past advice on addressing lead poisoning in this region has been so disrespected by so many - a pattern also seen in how leaders here have treated my expertise with Information Technology.

Now Would Be A Good Time For An Outside Audit of All Things Economic Development, 3rd Frontier and "Film" in Ohio

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 03/02/2010 - 16:45.

What are the results of the $billions in public money spent in Ohio on Economic Development, 3rd Frontier and "Film" in the past decade? Now is the time for an OUTSIDE audit, before our outbound leaders spend more of our money on the wrong things, while asking citizens for more money for the friends of current leadership to transfer to their new chosen-ones.

Do you have a chosen one?

To Save People The Bother of Attacking Me

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Sun, 02/28/2010 - 22:12.

I'll be brief.

I co-founded realNEO in 2004 because Northeast Ohio needs realNEO - the world needs realNEO. It is entirely different from any other "social network" or content management system on Earth, building upon the ICEarth co-op conceptual framework.

I developed the ICEarth (Internet/Information Community Earth) conceptual framework in global collaboration, in the late 1990's, and founded ICEarth LLC, in 2002, to build the co-op data warehousing and serving platform for the ICEarth conceptual framework.

We have built specialised hardware for ICEarth, running specialised open source software, all developed to unique specifications. Initial testing of the hardware and software configurations exceeds expectations.

Why My Boys Are Lead Poisoned: "City Supports Medical Center Company Demolition and Redevelopment Project"

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Thu, 02/25/2010 - 15:44.

Meet the biggest development secret in unreal NEO, that makes the Opportunity Corridor look like heaven on Earth - here is the big opportunity being rammed through East Cleveland... although we've never seen a plan... you've only read about it here, on realNEO, because the PD is part of making this happen, obviously... you think Litt didn't know about THIS, when he wrote this?

And you think bad shit goes down in your neighborhood.

I've Identified Some Astounding Information Technology Talents in real NEO who have been Harmed by our Leadership

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 02/22/2010 - 08:37.

I've Identified Some Astounding Information Technology Talent in real NEO that has been harmed by our regional leadership, and I'm trying to find a nice way to deal with that. Each of these people have risen to positions of demonstrated excellence in their fields - have innovated our regional information technology landscape and had global impact - and each of them have been directly violated by leadership in our community - IT leadership and community development leadership. They have each done the right things - each taken the right steps - and each been blocked along the way. And each are "minority". How do I now give them the proper status they deserve in the community, where they have not been welcome or valued?

Thank you Ronn Richard, Richard and David Goldberg, and the Board of the Cleveland Foundation

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 02/01/2010 - 16:39.

Clara Evelyn Roulet, 1 minute old

I was so busy yesterday having a beautiful baby girl (by waterbirth - by hypnobirth - amazing photos and video to come), I didn't have a chance to thank Ronn Richard and the Board of the Cleveland Foundation for a second great gift that day, showing they recognized the need to transform our regional redevelopment and transformation efforts at the core, after many years supporting and funding what we now have. I believe this opens up new world's of opportunity for our region, just when they are needed most.

Question of the Day: Should We Send Pollution to Polluters?

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Fri, 01/29/2010 - 03:59.

I've been thinking lead poisoning victims should send letters containing lead dust samples to the homes of people who clearly don't consider lead poisoning a serious matter. What do you think? Anything wrong with sending a perfectly legal substance that is spewed upon the public by Mittal and Cleveland Thermal to the families of the CEOs of the companies and enterprises that buy dirty power and steel from them?

How about sending lead to the politicians who vote for dirty coal burning, like the Cleveland City Council members who voted for AMP?
