Excellence Roundtable invites you to City Club Forum Tuesday on Raising Healthy Kids in NEOSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 04/03/2006 - 02:06.
I'm personally very involved with the GCLAC so I'm asking everyone I know to support this event... attend, invite your friends, pass on this message, buy a table... if you would like to donate tickets to others who can't afford to pay to attend, let me know. This is our excellence roundtable for the week, so attend this event if you usually join us for the roundtables. If you would like to know more about GCLAC and this event, and if you are planning to attend and want to sit with our group, please email me at norm [at] realinks [dot] us. For more information, and to reserve your lunch with the City Club, read this! Prior to Dr. Lanphear's talk, there is available a short course in Lead Poisoning, designed for primary care providers, physicians and nurses, to update the current practices of prevention, screening, and treatment along with a demographic description of the Greater Cleveland lead problem. This is open to the public - see details posted here. Immediately following Dr. Lanphear's talk, leaders of the Greater Cleveland Lead Advisory Council (GCLAC) will provide a one-year update on the initiative to eradicate lead in Greater Cleveland by 2010. Please feel free to stay seated after lunch and Dr. Lanphear's talk for this brief overview of major progress with addressing this problem, and the groundbreaking GCLLAC social partnership championed by the St. Luke's Foundation. For more information, and to reserve your lunch with the City Club, read this!
