Ok, RealNEO, Issue 6 passed, and all sorts of political shenanigans have kicked off, as usual.  As you all know, I made some noise about running for city council this summer, but alas, it wasn't in the cards.  There's a new deck, dealing new cards, and now I'm looking hard at running for the newly created county council seat that includes Cleveland Wards 3 (downtown, Tremont, Ohio City), 7 (St. Clair-Superior), 8 (Hough), 9 (Glenville), and 12 (Slavic Village).

This week, Cleveland's city planning commission denied permission for Nike to replace the giant 10 story Lebron James banner across the street from Quicken Loans arena with this new one...

I don't really know what to think about all this, but it really is instructive about just how lost today's MSM has become.  Total, mind blowing, cluelessness.  With a heavy dose of cowardice, arrogance, and stupidity thrown in.

An expose on Republican State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Kevin Coughlin was killed by Scene magazine in response to threats from Coughlin's lawyer, and resulted in the firing of the reporter today, James Renner.  Full story at my blog.

It's really hard to parody someone when they prove your point in everything they do. 

I've got a call in to David Moss of Fox8 to find out why he's calling around to real estate agents offering to pimp their unsold mansions on the air at 5x the avg sale price.  Seems like Moss is either (a) handing out freebies so potential ad clients will contract for ads, or (b) has the most tin ear in Cleveland TV.  UPDATE after the jump.

My little experience with this "community" has been very telling.  I always knew that whenever someone disagreed with my opinion they'd reflexively go after me personally.  Now, I have proof that it's irrational, because the flame war bloggers here at REALNEO, led by the irrational, do it the first chance they get.  Thanks guys!
