So what do you guys think, should I run for Cuyahoga County Council District 7?

Ok, RealNEO, Issue 6 passed, and all sorts of political shenanigans have kicked off, as usual.  As you all know, I made some noise about running for city council this summer, but alas, it wasn't in the cards.  There's a new deck, dealing new cards, and now I'm looking hard at running for the newly created county council seat that includes Cleveland Wards 3 (downtown, Tremont, Ohio City), 7 (St. Clair-Superior), 8 (Hough), 9 (Glenville), and 12 (Slavic Village).

I've created a most awesome Facebook Exploratory Committee, which is growing fast, with lots of great people joining up.  If you want to help make the decision, and you're on Facebook, join up and engage.   Lots of info there, a district map, and a long list of "Officers" who have graciously taken all the coolest titles available.

Looking forward to the discussion.  Thanks RealNEO!!

Should he run?

No.

Definitely!

I think you will make an excellent candidate and force other candidates to address real issues, and do so in an open and public way, or else. Decide soon, and get a seat at the planning table, as I'd like to see the process itself opened up to the public.

Let us know how things progress here.

Any candidates for my District, the very funky, progressive, intellectual and diverse District 10, including East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Bratenahl and Collinwood?

I'd run, but I'm considering County Executive.

Disrupt IT

thanks norm!

i'm planning to be open and transparent the whole way.  appreciate the input.
