 I was talking to an acquaintance today. A real city worker not a FOJ with a 6 figure made up job. Like Bradford Davy who has been able to move to a big shiny $335,000 house at 6106 Bridge his VERY FIRST HOME as an owner because of his new job and special relationship with Justine. No starter home for Bradford D, although his mortgage is $323, 495, barely a 3% down payment. But that's cool because he's really special and Fairway Mortgage, whatever THAT is, TOTALLY understands that. The city workers do not have a contract and Justine is not bargaining in good faith.

When he first got into office with a whopping 30,000 votes which his massive public relations "team" in newly created jobs that did not exist in the Jackson administration with 6 figure salaries in America's poorest and most dangerous city called a LANDSLIDE. A landslide of those who voted because 70% of eligible voters stayed home.

The lead paint scam enforcement has been gaining traction over the last 2 years.  Landlords celebrating their determination not to file rental registration are my target. I talked to someone at the newly weaponized Building and Housing Department yesterday. The rentals in the worst condition with many violations are the most likely to be covered with lead paint dust. Inside and OUT. Plus you can't evict anyone without your rental registration AND lead clearance certificate. I personally think this is bullshit but if I have to do it EVERYBODY has to do it.

In the late 1960's and early 1970's greedy unscrupulous real estate developers and REALLY are there ANY other kind slapped down substandard poorly constructed projects from low income housing to minority health centers. Vacant lots abounded in Cleveland in those days back when money was gushing from Uncle Fed. Seeing an opportunity to enrich themselves at the expense of poor minorities they partnered with the city of Cleveland and other government entities. It is impossible to trace those culpable because those slime ball developers cashed out long ago.

This afternoon a young woman was shot in the head and KILLED outside the meth lab at 3684 W 15 in Ward 12. BRANCULA'S ward. The coroner just took her body. At least 12 residents have called Brancatelli's office about this house over the past THREE YEARS. Nothing he could do his Secretary told the callers who actually got through. The others left many voice mail messages that were not returned. Brancula is too busy with his side job at the Land Bank handing out properties to his friends to help his constituents in Brooklyn Centre.

Though others will try to claim credit, including the current "representative", whose ONLY contribution was to try to take out the 75 year old majestic oaks in the middle of the night when no one was looking. Luckily he failed. So here are some photos that do not begin to do it justice. Finally Brooklyn Centre has a reason to be proud. OUR very own restored W.C. Reed Field. Thank you Councilman Cummins.

The Emerald Development Economic Network, which "helps" the poor by helping themselves to $25 million in federal funds per year, has also been cashing in for over 20 years by paying ZERO property taxes on their vast real estate holdings, which ALL house Section 8 tenants, by fraudulently classifying them as "private hospitals." Their lastest "hospital" venture is building obscenely expensive homeless shelters that house active drug users at the cost of $180,000 per 350 square foot unit. Each of these "hospitals" has between 60 and 80 units.

Could it be that our very own Forest City has been pulling the strings of the "urgent" remediation of WC Reed Field? They are already BFFs and old pals with the EPA who awarded them a shiny gold star in 2007 for their "visionary" upscale "eco compliant" housing development on a formerly petroleum saturated airfield in Stapleton Colorado. It is a Pleasantville Paradise of $400,000 to $1,000,000 homes replete with rain barrels, no driveways and an eco-correct 10 feet of space between the giant homes.
