You made Chris cry...

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Thank you Norm (and Pink Floyd)--My wish for 2010 would be that you are recognized by the MacArthur Foundation.

Thanks - I cry every time I hear that now

Definitely best viewed in HD full screen, which on Youtube is still way below the original image quality but not bad - I'll show you the original video some time..

I'm shooting these videos at HD 1080p, which is the highest standard right now, with a Panasonic AG-HMC40p handcam that has Leica optics and a very nice image quality - great file management.

I;ve made these video upgrades in dedication to Ed Hauser, who used video so effectively to manage stupidity, evil and corruption in this town.

I also upgraded our still camera to a Nikon D300, with some better optics, which makes a huge difference over the Nikon D70 I've been shooting since the beginning of REALNEO.

Expect a stunning REALNEO in 2010.

I Cried Too.

Of course, I am a crier.  What a beautiful tribute to such a fine man.  The seagulls calling in the background adds such a demension to the whole thing or should I say foreground. .  Great work, norm and Ed is proud of you.
