Update: Expert Linux vs. Windows Roundtable at NEORUG Conference

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 11/01/2004 - 14:29.

I just received an update from the President of NEORUG - Northeast Ohio Regional User Group of Hewlett-Packard computers - on an exciting session featured at their upcoming Training Symposium and Vendor Show - Thursday Nov. 4 from 7:30 AM until around 6 PM.

As this is a topic of great interest to me and all regional IT leaders, I plan to attend the conference and roundtable, and post insight from on-site, creating an archive and working paper for future REALNEO member development.

At 3:30 PM there is a Linux vs. Windows Roundtable that will be informative for all technology professionals. NEOSA's Jim Cookinham will be the moderator and they've got
quite a lineup of experts; Ram Rao from HP (Linux), Jeremey Wise from Agilysys
(Linux), Gabriel Torok from Sun (expert in Linux vs Windows), Gary Baney CEO of
Boundless Flight (expert in Linux vs Windows) and Dan Shephard from Microsoft
(Windows).

As this is a topic of great interest to me and all regional IT
leaders, I plan to attend the conference and roundtable, and post
insight from on-site, creating an archive and working paper for future
REALNEO member development.

They're trying to encourage broad attendance and anyone that registers by Wednesday November 3rd can attend the entire conference for free, with a paid NEORUG
membership (only $30 per year).

Visit NEORUG for more information and to register at their website
