Education

  • Education through the arts Cleveland needs to work to be a leader in education to attract business and middle class
  • Improve Cleveland with education and business growth simultaneously
  • Shoudn’t allow poverty to be an excuse for the undereducated.
  • Increase project-based learning for students
  • Have all schools compete with each other academically: (academic sports)
  • Help underprivileged parents become educated so they can be an example to their kids.

  • Overcoming self interest on the part of all stakeholders
  • Teaching Leadership: ethics, servant leadership
  • Whole systems thinking: 22 counties: divisive, feudal. ‘wards’ compete destructively: change this!
