Hunt Construction of Indiana builds in Cleveland:
2000 Mayor's Office of Equal Opportunity Contract Compliance Certification of Approval City of Cleveland

They built Jacobs Field (Cleveland Indians) and Cleveland Browns Stadium -- the one with the leak at the Chesney Concert this weekend. They built at Case, too.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - Hunt Construction Group construction management and general contracting firm has named Mike Fratianni as their new Executive Vice President/Division Manager of Midwest operations. Mr. Fratianni will reside in Hunt's Indianapolis office. His primary responsibilities include profit/loss, client satisfaction, ensuring that all projects controlled by the Indianapolis division are properly staffed and managed through the executive management personnel reporting directly to him, as well as business development systems and marketing advancement for the Midwest Region.
He was promoted to Project Manager in 1995 on the Van Andel Arena (Grand Rapids, Michigan), and then Construction Manager in 1997 on the Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Peter B. Lewis Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University
Cleveland, OH (Completed Project)

A new 150,000 SF graduate level facility which features classrooms, computer rooms, and offices.

The Iris S. & Bert L. Wolstein Research Building

Cleveland, OH (Completed Project)

A 330,000 GSF, two-basement-level research lab which is six stories above grade. Includes 30,000 SF of vivarium space and Level II & III biological suites.

They plan to donate the construction of a Teen Center in Phoenix. Cool, maybe they would donate the constuction for the Manchester Bidwell effort here in Cleveland. (Let us please, please renovate exisiting buildings -- there are so many with great shells! Yes, including the Inner Circle... )

Manchester Bidwell's training center in Pittsburgh could be model for Cleveland

Even though money flows to the parent corp in this deal it seems far better than the other silver bullets being hawked locally. In the Hunt scenario -- money flows from Cleveland to Indianapolis, but where has to flowed the other way? Looks like we might need some help in the building trades area too if we have to go to Indianapolis for construction companies, but then you have this guy Carbone here who gets the contract and then just let's em rip. (I noted this biznas in a previous post.)
