This Saturday, June 13, 2009, the members of REALNEO are invited to a community meeting of our cooperative, REAL COOP. The REALNEO social network is owned and operated by all members of REALNEO, through their REAL COOP, an Ohio cooperative, making us entirely unique in the world of social computing. As such, all members are welcome to participate in the network and cooperative planning. This meeting is an important opportunity for REALNEO members to become involved in the operation of REAL COOP and the planning of our virtual network... if you are not a member, sign up today and join us Saturday... it's all free, and open to all!

I am hosting this meeting at my parents' home in Shaker Heights... an interesting Van Sweringen plan house, where there is plenty of room for all and an eclectic art collection to enjoy. I'll provide Internet access, a digital projector and computer for viewing web content, a high speed printer, and basic refreshments. I encourage all to bring along their choices of beverages and some healthy snacks, if you please... we are at the corner of Shaker and Attleboro - directly across from the Attleboro Road Green Line RTA Rapid Transit stop... there is plenty of room for parking on Shaker and Attleboro

To get some idea of headcount, please email me if you are able to attend - norm [at] realneo [dot] us

In planning for the meeting, feel free to post here any questions or topics you would like addressed, and we will compile an agenda of topics to discuss. But don't think of this as just an opportuntity to help shape the future of social computing for the world... this is a great chance for members of a great virtual and real community to come together for fun. I hope you may join us!

Mandel Survey

The Mandel Center is currently undergoing an evaluation of our youth development and service-learning programming.  As someone who is familiar with the Treu-Mart Youth Development Fellowship, Youth Philanthropy and Service program, the Cuyahoga County Youth Work Institute and/or the MyCom initiative, your input is especially important to us.

As part of this process, we would like your help in two ways:

1) Complete the following survey.  It should take less than 15 minutes of your time.  All responses will be completely anonymous.

2) Please share this survey link with colleagues who you feel may be interested in youth development and/or service-learning professional development.

As a way to thank you for your participation, anyone who completes the survey will be given the opportunity to provide their name and email for entry into a drawing for a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate.

Thank you in advance for your participation!
