Ms. Dieball's interest in percussion started at the age of 12 and she studied with Harry Damas for the first 5 years of her musical life. She began her college career at Cuyahoga Community College where she studied percussion with Mell Csicsila and developed an interest in the marimba. Ms. Dieball recently graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in music performance. During her time at CSU she studied percussion with Matt Bassett and drum set with Bill Ransom. In 2007 she won CSU's concerto competition, performing Paul Creston's Concertino for Marimba, and in 2008 she won CSU's composition competition with her piece for string orchestra entitled Strange Dreams. Ms. Dieball plans on continuing her musical education at the graduate level with a concentration on drum set. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her unicycle around the streets of downtown Cleveland, and taking care of George, her bonsai tree. Location
