You don't know me, I am Antonio

From email: You probably won't recognize me or even know my name. My name was Antonio Santiago.

I was the 13-month old baby who was shot in the face at point blank range by two Black teens who were attempting to rob my mom, who also got shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy and daddy's peers from Brunswick, Georgia, determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty because they were too young... too bad. I was given a death sentence by them for being too young--White, innocent, defenseless and in the 'wrong' neighborhood where I lived.

My mommy and daddy made the mistake of being White and living in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. The Justice Department never even investigated my death, or if my rights were violated. President Obama didn't take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder or honor me.

I am one of the youngest murder victims in our great nation's history, but the media doesn't care to cover the story of my tragic demise. Michelle wasn't heartbroken. President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me, so he doesn't care and the media didn't care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots.

There is not a White equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick, GA., to demand justice for me.
There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those Black guys who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life.

So, while you are seeking justice, rioting and demonstrating for Treyvon Martin, in Florida, please remember to seek justice for me, too. Tell your friends about me, tell your families, get tee-shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you're doing for Treyvon Martin.

Thank you,
Tony

Arm yourself

Black on White crime is hidden by the media and there have been many cases since the unfortunate Trayvon Martin incident.

The best defense for all crime is self-defense.

Take a gun safety and shooting course- prepare to defend your own self - like me and many others.

If you aren't a good shot, buy a shot gun or a gun with a laser.

My philophosy:  If you find yourself in a vulnerable situation, shoot first and ask questions later.

true denial of the state of the US on race

I came over here a few moments ago because I heard Lily M had written about Frank.

When I saw that this e-mail, as if written by the dead baby, Antonio, has been posted, I decided to not even check futher for the coverage of Frank.

This shooting was a sad tragedy being played all across the country by punks and desperate people who have access to guns. Where their minds are at most normal people can't grasp.

To disparage the outrageous handling of the Trayvon Martin case is a denial of the state of overt and covert racism that exist throughout this nation. To minimize the pain of the Martin family is a slap in the face. To deny a through investigation of the Zimmerman execution of Martin because the shooters of Antonio are black is plain stupid.

When I look at young Africans American boys, I worry about their chances of living to 25.

The truth is there for anyone with the inclination to broaden their horizions, but most won't bother.

Meantime, keep buying those guns and getting those concealed carry permits, cause someone may get you but you'd better get them first, right?

Anyway, I will look up Frank and find out first hand how he is doing.

Later.

Tragic.....

We are guilted about our opinions......

Whether it's what we write, how we feel, or who we associate with...because of race...........................

Twisted are the folks who consume so much attention dividing us all.......................and those who submit to the division of the USA......

Sad to live in fear no matter what color we are....no matter where we live....

Evil is everywhere----and it's not about race......it's about POWER......

As a minority in my community I find it all absurd...just like being told to my face that I was the WRONG COLOR to apply at a job at the Veteran's Administration......life's a bitch no matter how you slice it.

BLESSINGS!

LOCKED & LOADED.

Prayers for the family of this child and all children caught in crossfire of ignorance.
