VOTE NO ON SIN TAX!

NO TO CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO’S EXTENSION OF THE ‘SIN TAX’ FOR ANOTHER 20-YEARS.

NO TO CORPORATE WELFARE.

PRIMARY ELECTION IN CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO IS ON MAY 6, 2014.

 

 

THE CHOICE IN THE MAY 6, 2014 ELECTION:

The ‘Sin Tax’ will benefit the billionaire owners of
First Energy Stadium (Browns), Progressive Field (Indians), and Quicken Loans Arena (Cavaliers) in Cleveland.  

REAL INTENT OF THE ‘SIN TAX’ BACKERS:

The slogan for the backers of the ‘Sin Tax’ is:

VOTE YES, KEEP CLEVELAND STRONG!

In fact, their slogan should read:

VOTE YES, KEEP CLEVELAND ON ITS KNEES!

VOTE NO ON SIN TAX!

 

 

20-YEAR EXTENSION:

Cuyahoga County, Ohio’s ‘Sin Tax’ is assessed at:

4.5 cents per pack of cigarettes,

1.5 cents per 12-ounce bottle of beer,

6 cents per 750-milliliter bottle of wine,

32 cents per gallon of mixed beverages,

24 cents per gallon of cider and,

$3 per gallon of hard liquor,                                           

and is estimated to generate $260 million over 20-years                                      

to benefit billionaire owners of First Energy Stadium (Browns),

Progressive Field (Indians), and                                   

Quicken Loans Arena (Cavaliers), in Cleveland

VOTE NO ON SIN TAX!
