The Stories not being told by NEOMG

Just a few points glossed over by the NEOMG and affiliates like WKYC -

DYK - Metrohealth has 2 new board members? Yep.  And, no one questions the rationale of putting Mitch Schneider and Tony Minor on the board of Metrohealth?

TWO major red flags -

  • Schneider is a DEVELOPER (see First Interstate) and also a board member on the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (See Thieving Communities).
  • Tony Minor is married to the interim Health Director for the City of Cleveland - Natoya Walker Minor http://www.clevelandhealth.org/

Also, floating around the neighborhood news - expected fast track council approval by outgoing Council Rep Joe Cimperman on  zoning overlays in Ohio City, along West 25th and downtown.   Intentionally confusing, these overlays would allow developers to essentially circumvent the Zoning Board requirements that normally give adjacent property owners a chance to appeal through a requisite application for variances.  The new zoning eliminates the variance process -giving more power to developers and less power to residents.

This is intended to appease developers (cough...Geis, Schneider) who don't like to deal with meddlesome resident law suits
(See Ohio City - http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/clevelands-ohio-city-neighborhood-fights-re-zoning-on-multi-family-projects )

EXPECT the new overlay zoning to go into high gear along West 25th Corridor...

And last, but not least - the rumor mill has four front runners for Joe Cimperman's coveted council seat:

Angela Shuckahosee, Jeff Verespej, Graham Veysey, and Kerry McCormack.  Google them for more info.
