Why VoIP?

Communication is very important for us. Since the development of the internet, it has made communication faster and more efficient, so researchers and developers invented VoIP (Voice over IP) communication protocol. VoIP is changing the telephony world, so regular voice calls are sent over a computer network instead of traditional phone lines.

VoIP service is based on broadband Internet communication. Your voice, which is an analog signal is changed to digital information and sent through the internet, and then changed back to its original form by way of digital reproduction. You still simply pick up your regular phone, dial a number and talk. It doesn't matter if the person you are calling has VoIP or not, this is all taken care of by VoIP service provider. There are no unexplained taxes or regulatory fees. You know the ones on your current bill that nobody understands and your local phone provider can't explain. So you can save money with a VoIp phone.

How VoIP Can Help You to Save Money in Your Business

VoIP is a way to save on your organization's telecom bill. In today's competitive market, you can't communicate enough and VoIP helps by reducing the related costs. VoIP will ensure low-cost services with high-end features that will transform your small business into a highly profitable and expense-saving operation. With VoIP business solutions you can save up to 80% on your monthly phone bills. A business VoIP service saves costs for a company on local calls and long-distance calls, which include both domestic and international calls. In particular if the company has many branches, within the country or overseas, then it makes a lot of business sense to go in for a VoIP solution.

The VoIP service providers offer many useful features, as these services are bundled with a VoIP service, such as a dedicated fax line, voicemail, caller display, call diversion, call waiting, and 3-way conferencing. Free services work well for staying in touch with family and friends, but may not provide you with the voice quality and reliability needed for your professional ongoing business needs. With a traditional phone system, adding a new phone line or changing an existing line is an expensive and a very time consuming job, often requiring the services of an expert who charges per service call. Voip is very suitable for your growing business needs as adds, moves, and changes are very easy to perform yourself via a Web-based control panel. Using Voice Over IP services can save businesses a significant amount of time, money, and human resources that might otherwise be linked by traditional phone lines. In addition it`s a ideal for virtual companies

VoIP Business Ideas

Build up your own brand name of high quality & effective products. VoIP is one of the fastest growing business sectors today. Many people buy VoIP service because it is convenient and flexible. Starting your own VoIP business is extremely expensive. There are now many VoIP companies that offer start-up businesses in the form of both affiliate and reseller programs.

An affiliate promotes the VoIP Company on his /her website and receives a commission for links and sales. As a VoIP affiliate, you will earn commission for signing up new users. Affiliates need a website.

Becoming a VoIP reseller is a compromise between building a dedicated VoIP company from scratch and selling VoIP services as an affiliate. As a reseller, you redistribute the airtime of a VoIP company. The company will handle most of the business and technical angles. In reseller business you will be your own brand and can set the price for the service, whereas an affiliate program only earns you a fixed commission. Remember, to have success in VoIP business you must learn all you can about the maketplace and do market research as talking to your potential customers.
The company will provide training. It`s a good home business idea, but as a reseller, you should have some technical and computer knowledge. You must asking and answering the following questions:
What exactly is my product or service?
Who exactly is my customer?
Why does my customer buy?
Some possibilities are:

  • Prepaid cards
  • VOIP consulting
  • PBX sales and service
  • Call Center Solutions
  • Independent Sales/Service Agent for existing VOIP service providers
  • VOIP Provider services

Remember, to have success in VoIP business you must learn all about VoIP to start your advertising campaign to your target market and start answering sales calls.

This is interesting - Spam or open community content?

Alex - at least you posted advertising with interesting information.

Are you with any of the companies you are linking to, or paid by them in some way, or do you work for a marketing company for them - how does this work and what do you get out of this?

Do you personally really know anything about VoIP... are you an expert offering unique insight?

Can you fill out your profile so we know more about you, and do you plan to build upon this insight, or is this just a one hit spam?

Do you plan to return pitching other products?

We need to decide how the community will deal with such promotion, and may as well start here.

VoIP deal

Norm, our proposal is real business. VoIP is one the best and global, perspective communication technology, so the information can be useful for people looking for business ideas.

I'm working for years in VoIP field, so your questions are welcome.

Regards, Alex

Alex, if Real Coop wants to offer VoIP service to members...

Give me a sales pitch, and show me what you know, Alex.

Real Coop has 100s of members and is growing - most are in Northeast Ohio but there are members around America and world. I see no reason we shouldn't do group contracting and buying like for VoIP phone services, and if we have 100s or 1,000s of members subscribing we should be able to negotiate and offer members low rates.

Real Coop is an Ohio not for profit.

Tell me what is the best technology and business model for Real Coop to extend lowest cost and outstanding VoIP services to members

Norm, the price can ranged

Norm, the price can ranged from several thousands to several hundred thousands dollars. Mera Systems has 3 softswitches with different price policy, so you can make the right choice with your requirements. It can be Class 4 softswitch for traffic transit or Class 5 device for end-users.

I think the best solution for Real Coop community is Mera IP Centrex softswitch (Class 5) costs about $6000-$8000 with Billbery VoIP billing software for $6000.

We have used VoIP at my workplace for about 2 years. We did it because we were consolidating and instead of just being in greater cleveland we would be across Northeast Ohio. We need a cheap solution and VoIP is the answer. The quality leaves a lot to be desired and there is a problem with VoIP interfacing with some large providers of cell phone service. There is a lot of attention to the administration as VoIP looks for the cheapest way to deliver the call and just drops some exchanges all together so those have to be input on our end by the administrator. But it is cheaper if that is what a company needs.
