Erase the black face: Whites-only marketing signals hi-tech Jim Crow

Max Eternity - This past August I submitted a post about anti-Black practices in corporate America entltled "Erase the Black Face: Microsoft 'Sanitizes' its Euro Ad."  The post immeadiately found itself at the center of a firestorm discussion @ RealNeo, with many attempting to whitewash the very obvious racist slant of the edited Microsoft ad.  It was a marketing ploy which had the same ad "edited' for Europe--deleting the Black person, versus the original ad, for the US, which had a Black person and other ethnic groups well represented.  Yet with this latest Erase the Black Face scenario coming out of Hollywood, how can there be any doubts left in anyone's mind--even the hardened FOX News enthusiasts--that racism is alive and well in Corporate USA--all the world.

It's nothing more than electro-digital, high-tech Jim Crow...aka bigotry--racism.

From the UK's Mail Online:

The makers of a hit Hollywood film are at the centre of a race controversy after removing two black actors from a poster being used to promote it in Britain.

The American advert for Couples Retreat, a comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Kristin Davis, show all eight principal actors – six of whom are white and two black.

But the poster in Britain, where the film is on general release, omits actors Faizon Love and Kali Hawk.  Read more.

Jim Crow Cleveland

Eternity--the establishment in NEO is using racism against the poor, the elderly, anyone "different" like Frank Giglio, and, especially minority groups--to steal their property.

The Fred Finley story needs to be on your radar and everyone else's radar.  It will finally expose the SII plan for what it is--institutionalized greed.

Anti-Black bias and other isms

Anti-Black bias and other forms of racism is very real.  And yet, because it, like most isms, masquerades in so many shapes and forms, it often gets overlooked or conveniently explained away.  Though  truth-be-told, some folks just don't want to own up to it.  So there's a lot of complacency, which by default aids and abets this social ill.

Thanks for tuning me into Mr. Finley's story.  Yet as I'm sure you know, his plight is just one of many--affecting not only blacks, but also poor whites and others deemed throwaways by the powers-that-be.
