Historic Bank Building in Old Brooklyn being stripped for Marble
Submitted by lmcshane on Mon, 07/14/2014 - 09:32.
I walked by the historic bank building at corner of Pearl and Broadview today - looking in the window - it appears that the building is being systematically stripped of the marble wall trim. The interior is very reminescent of the United Bank Building - which was renovated to house Crop restaurant. The building is listed with CBRE commercial real estate. http://www.cbre.com/EN/findproperty/Pages/default.aspx

Thank you to an architect friend who identified the Pearl Savings Bank Building as Hubbell and Benes. I am calling Landmark Commission to let them know that the current scumbag owner Jordan First LLC is stripping the building of marble.
