Federal prosecutors want more information on former Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo's top aides

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PROTECTING THE INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE! MY SALUTE TO THE FEDS, TO THE WHISTEBLOWERS, AND TO THE CITIZEN ACTIVISTS WHO ARE DEMANDING JUSTICE FOR OUR PEOPLE!!! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

This is not only looking like EMBEZZLEMENT-but it seems like DOMESTIC TERRORISM at large...RICO violations... unreal...just fire them all and take away all of their public employee benefits when you fire them while forcing them all to do 10,000 hours of community service with the homeless over the next 10 years...maybe that will force them to know what HUMILITY is all about.... Lord have mercy on our people!

Our people deserve better.....The interceptors are still in play and working to protect County Auditor Frank Russo's regime and their own behinds.... You cannot even get past them to communicate with the new auditor...comical... It's time to fire the entire staff of the entire administration building and start over...I never thought about it that way until recently... I never wanted to believe that "REGIME" had such infiltration...but everyone who works down there is somehow tainted by their abusive or complacent practices... it's a disgrace and May God Bless those who have REMAINED worthy of respect by doing the right thing... But to all of you who violate the PUBLIC's TRUST daily by trying to sustain the CORRUPTION...May the feds take you down with Russo and the regime... You broke the law...your smug, condesending, corrupt, and collusive practices have decimated the community at large with your FRAUDULENT, 64% of inflated appraisals county wide from 99-2009 which turned our community upside down. You deserve to be held PERSONALLY liable... and I believe that every citizen should be compensated for the trickle down damages you have portrayed on their lives through your abusive practices... visit realneo.us/blogs/angelnward14 for more blogs about the scams portrayed by this regime, how the property tax foreclosures were a part of their games, and how the low income cannot get assistance to save their homes while Plymouth Park Tax Services plays a role in all of this corruption... Unbelievable to the normal citizen how you all weaseled into every department from the auditor to the Board of Revisions, the tax certicate regime, and the appraisal regime---while perfecting PREDATORY PRACTICES on the public at large through the GOVERNMENT forum... SICKENING!!! You all failed to oversight these practices that ran amuck in our town and you didn't protect the public at large through your practices! You abused your positions in so many ways with your underground connections, your down low schemes, and your own dishonorable self interests-that you have no right to judge anyone who is struggling in this economy! You drove uncountable families and businesses out of our city with your actions and your actions will take generations of recovery actions to overcome!

Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Lt. Rich Peters loads documents seized Friday from the Board of Revision office at the county building after someone discarded them into a trash can. Investigators also confiscated 11 boxes containing more than 33,000 records for state investigators who are probing Auditor Frank Russo and the rigging of property appraisals.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Someone tried to destroy several hundred tax-related records that could be evidence in criminal investigations into the embattled Cuyahoga County boards of revision.

Board officials found the original documents, some of which detailed reductions to home values, in two blue trash cans and called the sheriff.

Investigators seized the discarded records. They also carted out 11 white boxes containing more than 30,000 property-tax-related records after learning that The Plain Dealer had reviewed the records as part of an investigation of the boards of revision.

Follow-Up: Carl Monday digs deeper into Cleveland's $100 home scam:

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - 19 Action News is getting a reaction from Mayor Jackson, concerning a Carl Monday Exclusive Investigation.

Were potential homeowners scammed in a city housing program?

Carl asked Mayor Jackson if getting to the bottom of the shady program's practices was ever a priority?

"It's always a priority whenever you find something irregular, and particularly when people are being harmed," Mayor Jackson.  (Oh really)

Mayor Jackson said the city wasted no time investigating some funny business in the city's $100 home program.

"It turned out to be a fraud. Just outright fraud," Romona Blaine.

People like Romona Blaine, who paid up $6,100 to David Mays for a home that should have cost $100.

"I'm very, very angry."

Angry because Romona says the city was fully aware that Mays was still involved in the home program, even after the community group he worked for was banned from the program because of poor performance.

Mays says he did nothing wrong.

"I didn't strong arm anybody. How did I take advantage of these the people with the documentation they have," David Mays.  (works at Euclid/St. Clair Coalition Community Development)

The city says its documents show they told Mays last year that he was barred from the program.

"The point that we knew or were aware of Mr. Mays, brokering these houses is absolutely false. And when we learned of that, as soon as we learned about it, on the mayors instructions, we instituted a very thorough, deep investigation," City Regional Development Chief Chris Warren.

Warren says a police internal affairs investigation has cleared any city employee of wrongdoing. A wider probe, that now includes the FBI is concentrating on Mays and business partner James Wilson.

Wilson, we've learned has a previous conviction for check fraud, and served 14 years in prison for rape. Mays, a former Cleveland Browns quarterback, did five years behind bars in a 2.7 million dollar welfare scam.

We're taxpayers, and the city their latest victims?

"It was just a scam for lack of a better word of somebody on the outside trying to take advantage of citizens. Oh, anytime you use the city's name in a negative way, that's not good," Mayor Jackson.

The mayor says the city's working with all the victims to get proper titles to their homes, bring the properties up to code, and hopefully, get their money back.
