The Critical Role of Human Capital Development

Asset development must look beyond investment in physical capital, such as businesses and buildings, and include developing the capacity of our most valuable resource: our people. An emphasis on human capital development--helping people to reach their full potential from early childhood through adulthood--will be critical to meeting the region’s economic challenges now and in the future.

A panel of experts will explore how efforts to develop human capital can play an important in rejuvenating Northeast Ohio’s economy
