Following a brief question and answer period, the E4S Network will go to work discussing how we can help the city lead. Ask not what your city can do for you, but what you can do for your city! Come prepared to discuss and document your top one to two sustainability project ideas that will have the most impact on our region. At the end of the evening we will ask a few people from the E4S Network to share their ideas and how they will play a part in making them a reality! How far have we come
Its an important question to ask: how far have we really come since this session we attended 18 months ago? How much closer to a wind farm are we, and how much have we progressed? Again it is so critical that we drive grassroots adoption of sustainability best practices amongst the 'non-choir' - the resistant to change masses. We need to do this at all levels of system and across all sectors - GOV, FPO, NPO, and EDU by network mapping all of those passionate about this needed positive change and coordinating the collaboration.
Most network maps have been centric to one particular organization or foundation's interests - we need one that has the community's interest at heart and center it thusly!
The inspiration and enthusiasm we need for truly triumphant participation can come from the motivational power of future thinking, exciting, and realistic ideology.
Let's do it! There are many visions we can aspire to and get our whole region involved with to bring economic prosperity to NEO. Who's in?
