First off, "the woman" Evelyn, was found competent by her own doctor. That is why she did not consent to another evaluation. She passed the tests with flying colors.
If you check, the only money paid to the caregiver, were re-reimbursements for food shopping, getting her meds, and house hold expense (like lawn fertilizer, dog food, etc) which - if you took the time to see, averages $300.00 a month. So, for each of those last 3 yrs they investigated, it was approx. $3,000 a yr paid back to him. As he paid out of his own pocket when he made the purchases, and he gave her all the receipts, and she wrote the check for that amount.
You are doing the twisting, and not I. When I first came here, it was YOU who attacked me first, and then you got others on your ill-fated band wagon.

When an elder is 'robbed of all of her/their rights, without any due process by the Adult Protective Services and the courts' then she is made a WARD of the court.
Appointed a guardian, who for all intent and purpose, becomes the ward. He/she 'slips' into the ward's shoes and can act as her. (Sell her house, spend her money, open her safe deposit box, etc) and if any wrongs are found with those caring for her, bring charges and have them arrested.
See, all but the last happened there.... no charges because no wrongs were done in Evelyn's life by her care givers.

For the past 15 years, DEAN MARINPIETRI, a handyman, has provided care for Evelyn, and at some point of time Dean moved in the home with the elderly lady.
Allegations of possible neglect and other concerns caused Evelyn to be removed from her home:

8. Ms. Schwartz's health care power-of-attorney Dorothy Buzek resides in Georgia. Her sister-in-law Eleanor Uhlir lives in Olmsted Township and has also been unable to visit or speak with Ms. Schwartz.
9. APS was able to successfully visit several times with Ms. Schwartz but at this time Mr. Marinpietri is refusing to allow me to visit Ms. Schwartz. APS has been unable to see Ms. Schwartz since April 1, 2009.
10. Ms. Schwartz is unable to manage her finances independently.
Dean Marinpietri, the live-in caregiver, has serious criminal convictions and a violent history. Dean was just recently released from prison.

According to records, Dean and at least one of his girlfriends were assisting Evelyn with her personal finances including writing, deposting, and cashing checks:

Contesting family members stepped in, and Dean was removed from the Probate Court case, but not before DNA was requested from the deceased Whalen to verify the possible relatives:

NASA, the government agency that put a man on the moon and sent robots to Mars, is turning its focus around and working on spreading information among the public about the earth’s apparent impending doom. A new agency website dubbed “Climate Kids” has “NASA’s eyes on the earth.”
The website specifically targets young kids with games, movies, and other interactive tools that present debated theories as facts. For instance:
Additionally, the website tells kids that dinosaurs are in their gas tanks and that polar bears are dying as a result. ClimateQuotes.com reports:
These are obviously two very contentious points with only one side presented. First, they claim that:
The planet is warming up fast–faster than at any time scientists know about from their studies of Earth’s entire history.
The trend of recent warming is practically identical to two previous trends. Their second claim, “Humans are causing this warming” is made without bothering to allude to any uncertainty. Even the IPCC only gives a 90% and says ‘very likely’. Saying “It is very likely that humans are causing this warming” at least lets the little tykes know it isn’t an absolute scientific fact (because it isn’t).
The site also tackles issues like the greenhouse effect, effects on wildlife (like the polar bear), ocean acidification, and offers kids advice to answer the question, “What can we do to help?”
NASA recommends kid plant trees to help save the planet and shows a picture of First Lady Michelle Obama doing her part.
The site also encourages kids to get their parents to buy new CFL light bulbs and purchase reusable grocery bags to cut down on waste. (The picture of the suggested reusable bag is quite telling, no?)
“Climate Kids” also suggests kids do simple things like save water, unplug “electricity vampires” and ride a bike instead of taking a car.
But if kids want to make a real difference, NASA recommends they grow up to work in a “green career.”
You can help to solve climate change problems and challenges. These are the exciting careers of the future. They range from designing satellites for NASA to fixing wind-energy generators to planning drought-tolerant landscapes for homes and parks. Many of the possible careers haven’t even been thought of yet. You could invent your own career!
The “Climate Kids” website also has a designated section for educators where NASA offers “climate-related activities for the classroom“ and ”resources on climate change” from the U.S. Department of Education.
ClimateQuotes asks the obvious question: “Why do we need federal agencies to create programs which educate children about climate change?”
Even if we ignore that question and accept the role of federal agencies as educators, we still are left with a completely one-sided presentation. There is no mention in the NASA site of uncertainties. There is practically no timescale presented to give context. The site urges children to pick certain ‘green’ careers over others. The positives of renewable energy are praised, with no mention of the drawbacks. Whether or not you believe this site should even exist (with taxpayer funding), certainly we can all agree the issues presented need to be balanced. There is no balance on the NASA Climate Kids website. I’d wager that if all references to NASA were removed, the site would be indistinguishable from an environmentalist site.
Good use of taxpayer dollars? You decide.
On a related note, using kids to spread talking points on climate change and a new “green”-driven economy is not new. 1Sky Campaign, an organization supported by a number environmentalist “allies” such as former President Bill Clinton and former White House green jobs czar Van Jones, has also used children to highlight its own political message:

If they are promoting global warming or climate change is caused by humans then we need to make sure that this program is canceled and abolish by Congress. Our government is always to us. First off, "the woman" Evelyn, was found competent by her own doctor. That is why she did not consent to another evaluation. She passed the tests with flying colors.
If you check, the only money paid to the caregiver, were re-reimbursements for food shopping, getting her meds, and house hold expense (like lawn fertilizer, dog food, etc) which - if you took the time to see, averages $300.00 a month. So, for each of those last 3 yrs they investigated, it was approx. $3,000 a yr paid back to him. As he paid out of his own pocket when he made the purchases, and he gave her all the receipts, and she wrote the check for that amount.
You are doing the twisting, and not I. When I first came here, it was YOU who attacked me first, and then you got others on your ill-fated band wagon.

When an elder is 'robbed of all of her/their rights, without any due process by the Adult Protective Services and the courts' then she is made a WARD of the court.
Appointed a guardian, who for all intent and purpose, becomes the ward. He/she 'slips' into the ward's shoes and can act as her. (Sell her house, spend her money, open her safe deposit box, etc) and if any wrongs are found with those caring for her, bring charges and have them arrested.
See, all but the last happened there.... no charges because no wrongs were done in Evelyn's life by her care givers.

For the past 15 years, DEAN MARINPIETRI, a handyman, has provided care for Evelyn, and at some point of time Dean moved in the home with the elderly lady.
Allegations of possible neglect and other concerns caused Evelyn to be removed from her home:

NASA TARGETS ‘CLIMATE KIDS’ WITH NEW GLOBAL WARMING WEBSITE

NASA, the government agency that put a man on the moon and sent robots to Mars, is turning its focus around and working on spreading information among the public about the earth’s apparent impending doom. A new agency website dubbed “Climate Kids” has “NASA’s eyes on the earth.”
The website specifically targets young kids with games, movies, and other interactive tools that present debated theories as facts. For instance:
Additionally, the website tells kids that dinosaurs are in their gas tanks and that polar bears are dying as a result. ClimateQuotes.com reports:
These are obviously two very contentious points with only one side presented. First, they claim that:
The planet is warming up fast–faster than at any time scientists know about from their studies of Earth’s entire history.
This is flatly untrue. Remember this graphic from the BBC Phil Jones interview?
The trend of recent warming is practically identical to two previous trends. Their second claim, “Humans are causing this warming” is made without bothering to allude to any uncertainty. Even the IPCC only gives a 90% and says ‘very likely’. Saying “It is very likely that humans are causing this warming” at least lets the little tykes know it isn’t an absolute scientific fact (because it isn’t).
The site also tackles issues like the greenhouse effect, effects on wildlife (like the polar bear), ocean acidification, and offers kids advice to answer the question, “What can we do to help?”
NASA recommends kid plant trees to help save the planet and shows a picture of First Lady Michelle Obama doing her part.
The site also encourages kids to get their parents to buy new CFL light bulbs and purchase reusable grocery bags to cut down on waste. (The picture of the suggested reusable bag is quite telling, no?)
“Climate Kids” also suggests kids do simple things like save water, unplug “electricity vampires” and ride a bike instead of taking a car.
But if kids want to make a real difference, NASA recommends they grow up to work in a “green career.”
You can help to solve climate change problems and challenges. These are the exciting careers of the future. They range from designing satellites for NASA to fixing wind-energy generators to planning drought-tolerant landscapes for homes and parks. Many of the possible careers haven’t even been thought of yet. You could invent your own career!
The “Climate Kids” website also has a designated section for educators where NASA offers “climate-related activities for the classroom“ and ”resources on climate change” from the U.S. Department of Education.
ClimateQuotes asks the obvious question: “Why do we need federal agencies to create programs which educate children about climate change?”
Even if we ignore that question and accept the role of federal agencies as educators, we still are left with a completely one-sided presentation. There is no mention in the NASA site of uncertainties. There is practically no timescale presented to give context. The site urges children to pick certain ‘green’ careers over others. The positives of renewable energy are praised, with no mention of the drawbacks. Whether or not you believe this site should even exist (with taxpayer funding), certainly we can all agree the issues presented need to be balanced. There is no balance on the NASA Climate Kids website. I’d wager that if all references to NASA were removed, the site would be indistinguishable from an environmentalist site.
Good use of taxpayer dollars? You decide.
On a related note, using kids to spread talking points on climate change and a new “green”-driven economy is not new. 1Sky Campaign, an organization supported by a number environmentalist “allies” such as former President Bill Clinton and former White House green jobs czar Van Jones, has also used children to highlight its own political message:

What a pack of lies our kids are being told by NASA. It is time to give that agency a mercy killing. If they are promoting global warming or climate change is caused by humans then we need to make sure that this program is canceled and abolish by Congress. Our government is always to us. This site delivers unfounded theories based on proven falsified data as irrefutable fact and gives zero acknowledgement to the fact that human knowledge of such massive natural processes is not only extremely limited, but in this case skewed by those with a vested interest in convincing the populace at large that we are "destroying the Earth", thereby fostering an unhealthy and undeserved self-loathing guilt. While no reasonable person can argue against conservation of natural resources, the delivery of the provably false THEORY of Anthropomorphic Global Warming as undeniable FACT to CHILDREN is morally reprehensible and I am disgusted that my tax dollars are being wasted to indoctrinate children into the garbage spewed by the likes of Al Gore, a proven liar, hypocrite, and morally bankrupt politician.
The core mission of NASA is not to shill for those with an agenda, it is to seek knowledge of our universe, including our planet. You have sold out. You should remove this website immediately and get back to the real work that your administration was founded to do.
