Raw Umber Fall Show at the Malone Building in Akron

On Friday Nov. 14 from 6-10 there will be an art opening presented by the Akron artist's group Raw Umber.  The members of Raw Umber are Bernadette Glorioso, Jody Hawk, Antonio, and Steve Csejtey.  Featured guest artists are Kevin Busta, Joe Day, Keith Smith and Kelly Flamos of Cleveland. Also featured is Todd V of Akron who runs Red Light Studios at Northside and CitiArt in Cuyahoga Falls.  Music to be announced.  Please join us, our openings are always a good time.

The Malone building is in downtown Akron at 209 S Main St.  It is on the corner of University St and S. Main St. across from Lock #3.  We have a lot of space on the 6th floor.

SALON of AKRON

Akron means "high point" or something to that effect (I am off today).  It is really nice to see artists join together to form a recognized SALON. 

This means recognition and documentation that WILL be recorded in history.  Even, if it is just a fleeting union, you will always have reference as the RAW UMBER group.  Have you started your Wikipedia page?

Plusquellic

Very curious--Could you folks in Akron give us some feedback on Plusquellic? I often wonder why we don't make him OUR mayor and give Cleveland+Akron the Twin Cities effect? I remember watching Jane Campbell fawn all over Plusquellic at a City Club luncheon. Phillip Morris seems to like the guy, too.
