Home Depot Still Life - is shopping better than it was? or not?

Every item that is delivered to every store in the United States is palletized in the delivery truck - and a loading dock and fork lift is necessary for offloading the goods.

So the corner store is out of the loop.  No fork lift.  No loading dock.

Stores like Costco, BJ's, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes receive entire tractor trailer loads - 52 feet long by 8 feet wide by 8 feet high - of one or two items on each trailer.

Sheet rock, lumber, paint, windows, whatever -

And if your store can't take an entire trailer load, then your store isn't as efficient as a store that can.

China knows all this.

China buys a lot of US Treasury bonds.

Is this ocean capable intermodal container commerce a Trojan delivery system in place of an intercontinental missle with a nuclear warhead?

Aren't these big box delivery systems creating about the same result for US citizens that a nuclear delivery would create?

And we push the orange carts out to our cars.
