Dancing Classrooms heats Tri-C

Dancing Classrooms-another FREE and amazing event in NEO.

South Pacific

Where was everyone on a frigid, grey day in Cleveland?

Why...at the Lincoln Center production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's
South Pacific
at Playhouse Square!

If you want to see the theaters lovingly preserved and tended by
the friendly folks in red jackets--hit the free tours of the complex offered
on the first Saturday of every month.

God love Ray Shepardson--I can remember going to the theatres in their
dilapidated state to watch a performance of Hungarian dancers.  I can remember
snow falling on the stage during the performance.  To see the seats filled and the theatres restored
today gives me some hope for our community.

Emile de Becque/David Pittsinger's voice is outstanding! Go!

The play is also amazing relevant--it's 62 years old and the themes are so current.
