Cleveland Public Library Social Sciences Non-Fiction Book Club Discussion - April 12, 2012 @ NOON

The Social Sciences Department of the Cleveland Public Library will hold their non-fiction book club discussion on Thursday, April  12, 2012 at 12:00 PM in the Social Sciences Department (Sports Research Center).  We will discuss the book entitled, "The WHORE of AKRON: One Man's Search for the Soul of Lebron James." (Scott Raab)

"Who is Lebron James? In the wake of his sudden departure from Cleveland's hopeful Cavaliers to join Pat Riley's Miami Heat, this is the question that is burning in the hearts of basketball fans around the country.  Now, in the tradition of Frederick Exley's cult-classic sports book "A Fan Notes", journalist Scott Raab travels from Cleveland to Miami and back again in an obsessive quest to uncover the soul of one of today's greatest basketball players -  amd answer the question once and for all, "Who is Lebron James?"

Please join us for an enlightened book discussion. Copies of the book may be picked up in Social Sciences Department and checked out in Lending Department. However, due to the limited number of the copies, if you would like a reserved place on the title for you, please contact us as soon as possible.

If possible, please let us know if you are attending so that we may have enough packets!
