Why did the Claude A. Desgagnes dock on it's starboard side when it's self-unloading cranes are on it's port side?

Ship's Captain is right handed,

Here is a kust if potential reasons why ship is docked on starboard side:

1.   Captain is right handed.

2.    Ship's cranes don't have adequate capacity to lift cargo.

3.    Ship's hull is wedge shaped an thus too deep at stern to dock stern-in.

4.    Ship's crew were on holiday touring Rock Hall.

5.    The Merchant Marine Act of 1920 (aka the Jones Act).

6.    Other reason(s).
