Like Cleveland Housing Network - the Catholic Diocese now wants in on the money game!  The altar boys Brian Cummins and Tony Brancatelli are only too happy to accommodate - more money in the coffers for them!

Cleveland Catholic Diocese says it was unaware of rent hike letter sent by St. Rocco Parish

Robert Klein editorial in PD today -my comments deleted in 2 sec

The Illinois Attorney General sued Robert Klein's Safeguard Properties and here Cleveland. com presents him as an expert in rebuilding communities:

Just another sick example of how this media outlet will be in the position of playing mea culpa - AGAIN - after the feds connect the dots here in NEO between former Treasurer Rokakis, his Deputy Treasurer Gus Frangos - and how they manipulate real estate, first through the sale of tax liens, through the Board of Revision and now through their control of the "Land Bank" and local CDCs (Slavic Village is one example - the worse is mega CDC Detroit Shoreway).

Cuyahoga County did not get this federal money because the program here is not focused on helping folks stay in their homes and there is no effort to make housing truly affordable.  I presented before the Cuyahoga County Community Development committee of Cuyahoga Council - please watch the entire video - it is highly informative.

It is very sad that Cuyahoga County can not come up with a comprehensive plan to give "Land Bank" properties to church groups and the Catholic Diocese- to renovate and make available to families within their parishes.  It would help rejuvenate our neighborhoods.
