Ramadan is the month during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day.  Iftar is the meal eaten after sunset when the fast is broken.

Sr. Ieasha has spent her life as an educator, artist, activist and entreprenuer committed to the goal of empowering Muslim women.   In 1994, she founded Sisterhood in Action, an international women's organization devoted to helping women rise above social challenges to acutualize their full potential in life and society.
