Online Police Reporting System
 

The Online Police Reporting System is designed to make it easier and more convenient for you to file a police report without leaving home; however, not every crime can be reported using this system.

If this is an emergency, dial 9-1-1 immediately.
If a crime is in progress or someone is hurt or threatened, dial 9-1-1 immediately.

You can report the following incidents using the Online Police Reporting System:

Property Damage- Accidental
Property Damage- Criminal Intent
Supplemental Report
Petty Theft
Petty Theft From Vehicle
Bicycle Theft
Lost Property

Review the questions below. If you answer yes to any of them, please call 216-621-1234 to file your report or visit our FAQ's for more information.

  • Did the crime or incident occur outside Cleveland City limits?
  • Was someone injured as a result of this crime or incident?
  • Do you know or have information about the person, even if vague, who might have committed the crime (description, name, license #, etc.)?
  • Do you know the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect was or may be in?
  • Did the crime involve the use or threat of a weapon (gun, knife or other)?
  • Did the crime involve drugs in any way?
  • Is the total value of any stolen or damaged items $500 or more?
  • Do you have serial numbers for stolen items?
  • Was there a break in at your house or garage?
