Please welcome Marc Canter back to Northeast Ohio, and collaborate developing the Citizen Dashboard proposal for Cuyahoga CountySubmitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 04/21/2009 - 05:30.

Videophone HelpSubmitted by marccanter on Mon, 03/23/2009 - 00:48.
Wouldn't it be great if a community could use videophone technology - like what you can get for free from Skype - to help each other? If someone had a question - all they'd have to do is videophone up somebody and ask an answer. The idea is that experts can support newbies in almost any area - and vice versa. So if you were working on a home repair job or winterizing and you needed an experts advice, you could find him/her. And if they needed help in creating a web site or balancing your companies books - they could help you.

Citizen Dashboard Killer Ap Proposal: Reinvent Journalism in Real NEOSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Sun, 03/22/2009 - 16:55.
I was surprised to see a letter to the editor printed and on-line in the Sunday, March 22, 2009, Cleveland Plain Dealer - "A flag of peace is found out of order at the St. Patrick's Day parade", by Lou Pumphrey. It starts: "Being half-Irish (on me mudder's side), off work on St. Patrick's Day and knowing the day would be sunny and warm, I vaguely considered donning my 41-year-old U.S. Army dress uniform and joining the St. Paddy's Day parade downtown, carrying my flag." But there was no accompanying picture of Lou or the Flag of Peace. In the print edition, there was a file photo of a parade, but it was hardly relevant.

According to the unnamed, our future is in their handsSubmitted by Lee Batdorff on Thu, 03/19/2009 - 13:12.
Who imploded the economy? Many critics point to a crucial role played by traders of exotic unregulated financial instruments which are understood by few people. Currently most of these traders at American Insurance Group remain unnamed while receiving bonuses for “safely” dismantling an investment system turned doomsday machine which happens to hold the fate of the world’s financial system.

Citizen Dashboard proposalSubmitted by marccanter on Fri, 03/13/2009 - 22:10.
Howdy. My name is Marc Canter. I was the guy who first introduced Norm Roulet to Drupal like 5 years ago. (or was it four? - it's hard to keep track.) Anyway I've recently been working with Norm on a new proposal called the 'Citizen Dashboard'. Its been fashioned for Cuyahoga County - but could (obviously) be used anywhere. I've posted it on my blog and facebook today and I'll be flogging this horse as I collect input from you folks. That's my next step. So please - HAVE AT IT!
