Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson's message-This is AMERICA?

Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson spoke at Playhouse Square this past Tuesday. 

Here's a smart guy.  Did anyone listen?  His message: America is failing.  Our bridges are falling, our roads our crumbling, our levees are breaking.

This is America? 

For a nation that once led the world in scientific discovery and innovation, America's influence is dwindling to non-existent.  Dr. Degrasse Tyson spoke about the vast universe and space exploration last night, but he also spoke about Planet Earth, dinosaurs, meteors and the end of the world. 

We need to solve our problems with science, technology and discovery. We need to educate our children to dream and innovate.  We need to get to work.

  Dr. Degrasse Tyson is entertaining and engaging--but please listen when he speaks.  Be a skeptic, be inspired by the universe-- THINK.

(This message is for Case Western Reserve University--an international center for academic innovation--and yet, it refuses to even acknowledge the controversy over the permit renewal for its coal energy plant and the environmental injustice inherent in its plan to build a "clean coal" facility in East Cleveland).
