There are many good things to enjoy in Cleveland--here are some images from the past two days.  Cleveland as seen by transit and walking--no cars.

Images from the Sculpture Center, University Circle, East Fourth Street, Morgan Paper Conservancy and Octavofest exhibit at Cleveland Public Library.

No bike rental

We made a half-hearted attempt to find a bike rental downtown today...no such luck.

Good header material - thanks, I needed that!

Early Transportation--Digital Corridor??

Donald Bayard images from Early Transportation at the Cleveland Public Library..

We were fortunate today to visit downtown Cleveland to find an amazing cultural institution--the Cleveland Public Library.

A few years back as part of the One Community initiative--there was a promise to create a Digital Corridor along the Euclid/Health Line Corridor connecting CWRU/University Circle to downtown Cleveland.

What became of that initiative?  And, why did it not go forward with the development of the Healthline?

Could it be that the promise of WiFi and connectivity will be the final selling point for the Opportunity Corridor, instead?

Despite my complete mistrust of our local leadership--I will let hope prevail.  Afterall, it could be worse.  We could be Detroit...
