Saturday: January 12, 2013. An unbelievably, unseasonable, sunny day in NEO. The West Side Market had a banner day with some vendors selling out of items. I rode my bike down and dropped it off at Joy Machines. While I shopped, Joy Machines' Renato replaced my kick stand and trued my tires (damaged by the bike racks on RTA). All for a reasonable $20.00. Great service, great guys.
On the way home, I ran into Mike, who is 70-80 (?) years old, tooling around on his bike. He has no car. His bike is outfitted with a radio of his own handy work. It was a great day to be out on a bike.
