Sadly--the whole objective is to steal land and property from folks who have nothing but the homes they own outright. They are easy folks to take advantage of because their homes and neighborhoods are perceived as "worthless." If NEO was a community that valued diversity, we would look at ways to improve the infrastructure in these neighborhoods by building bridges, not highways for the "rich" folks who don't live here. [2]
Ironically--the Healthline is functioning to bring people to the city as it was promised. The Plain Dealer and "Opportunity Corridor" steering commitee should experience world culture and actually ride it, sometime.
I rode it on Monday and actually felt hopeful for our city.
But--the rich have to get richer and the poor have to get poorer. This is how it is done in NEO. Sad.
