Assemble Grand Opening on June 17th, 7pm until 10pm.

Please join us for the grand opening of Assemble, the newest addition to the 1300 and the Greater Cleveland Art Scene. Assemble is one part original artwork, two parts creative lifestyle products/services, and a splash of limited edition hand made items, all served chilled and at an affordable price. Assemble (Gallery & Store) co-exist within the 1300 complex and provide a new venue for the ne(u)w-art-era.

For the Assemble grand opening, a fine & varied array of original artwork will be on display giving viewers a taste of future shows on tap for Assemble Gallery in the coming year. Works on display will include ceramics by Lauren Herzak-Bauman, photography by Natalia Dale and Julia Dennis, mixed media pieces by Katie Maurer, Ade Lun Sec and Daniel Merk, along with print work by the likes of Brian D. Kelly and Jason Walters.

The Assemble fine art store will feature a huge assortment of hand made hand bags by There-She-Goes, the latest fashions from Derek Hess's STRHESS line, limited edition T's from PodClothing, personalized cosmetics by Heartbreak Nurse, eclectic paper ware by DPongallo, hand made books by CToke, and much more.

June 17 also marks the closing reception of a Pound and a Bear hug (reviewed on REALNEO here [2]) in 1300's main gallery. This special show features the latest works by Ales "Bask" Hostomsky and Leon "Tes One" Bedore and their labor of love for the graffiti art renaissance and subculture.
